Most of the guys who sign up for international dating sites are the upstanding sort – they do their research and are fully prepared to sign up to meet the woman of their dreams. The problem is that there is the occasional bad (or simply misinformed) apple that comes to the table with the wrong set of cards in hand. Here are some reasons why you should not sign up for an international dating site: if you see that the top appeal of engaging in international dating includes one (or many) of these, you should probably rethink your decision.
- You’re looking for play.
These dating sites are full of serious women who are looking for marriage. If you’re looking to have a one night stand with a Latina lady, you’re best off going to Rio and hoping that you strike it rich with one of the playgirls there. These sites are generally full of the more serious type of woman. If your immediate to near future doesn’t involve wedding bells and babies, you might want to look elsewhere.
2. You’re looking for a maid.
Gents, this is not a janitorial service. If you’re looking for a clean home, go to Merry Maids to get what you want. No doubt that foreign women may bring to mind pictures of domestic bliss, a clean house, and good cooking, but these women aren’t in the game to mop your floors. Most of them, whether it be Russian women or Asian ladies, are highly educated and know what they want out of life – and that’s an equal partner. A large appeal of foreign men to many of these women is that the women see many foreign men as more “liberated” in mindset and willing to treat women like friends and partners in crime, not a cleaning automaton.
3. You’re looking to play women against each other.
Face it, every guy loves a little attention. And there’s no rule saying that you can’t shop around the offerings on these websites and see what you like. Just make sure that when you make a “commitment” to a woman over the Internet – i.e. say that you’re not messaging other women – that you actually commit. Be serious.
